[Entm-researchstaff] Thank you -- Riverside Insect Fair 2025!!

Dear all,
A huge THANK YOU to all of you who made the 2025 Riverside Insect Fair a
huge success today! It is clear that all the interactions today at our
research booths, the stage, touch-a-bug, the CNAS booth, EGSA and BEUSA,
and ENTM 123 (science communication class) made the communities around us
(as far away as Palm Springs and beyond!) appreciate the importance of
insects and the importance of research on insects so much more. It's been
exhausting, and yes, it rained on us (a first for Riverside Insect
Fair....), but it's so worth all of our efforts! The city expected around
15,000 visitors this year, and thought that we might have attracted more
than that! We'll be talking with the City of Riverside on how to make this
event thrive in the future.
