[Entm-researchstaff] FRIDAY's and SATURDAY's Power outage update

1. *No *Entomology buildings will be affected by *Friday's 4-9 a.m*. power
outage.  Something called the Bio-culture building with several incubators
that is apparently located by Faucet Labs will be affected.  I am not sure
where the Bio-Culture building is or what Department is responsible for it.

2.  Some good news.  For *SATURDAY*, the existing backup generators
(Entomology, Genomics) will be turned on first before the first power
switchover such that there will be no power interruptions for equipment
plugged into *RED PLUGS. However, there may be very brief surges no matter
(I am told to think "flickering lights") but no loss of power. Use your
judgement here! * For anything plugged into *WHITE* or *ORANGE* plugs,
expect power going off and then on at the previous times mentioned in my
earlier email.  Remember the times for power switchover are 6:16 a.m.,
10:15 a.m., and 4:15 a.m. ± 30-45 min.
