*WHAT TO EXPECT*

All power will be down, such as lights, receptacles, and any equipment not
on backed up by an emergency generator. The communication to the TES tanks
will also be down.

If you have sensitive research equipment or systems you know can be
impacted by a power outage and you have not connected them to uninterrupted
power devices, such as UPS and surge protectors, please plan to disconnect
and turn off the equipment for the duration of the shutdown to avoid any
damage. Additional information on how to power down your equipment may be
found from our partner at EH&S: https://ehs.ucr.edu/laboratory/utilities. It
is recommended that any equipment using emergency power be plugged into a
red, e-power outlet, such as -80 freezers, spectrometers, and air
compressors.

*PURPOSE* Replace existing transformer due to imminent failure. The
transformer is leaking oil, so failure is imminent unless corrective action
is taken.
