[Entm-researchstaff] OUTREACH speaker request -- November 23 Fall In The Farm

Hi Entomologists,

The Fall In The Farm festival is looking for two speakers to talk on their event stage on insect-related topics, a 15-20 minute presentations each. If not, we could table a booth.

The event is Saturday November 23rd, the weekend before Thanksgiving, and at the edge of our usual maximum travel radius, so I want to gauge interest before confirming. The event usually welcomes 2000-3000 guests, and could be a good opportunity for public speaking, to get the word out about your research, as an outing with your friends and family, etc.

Good morning!
My name is Sara and I am part of the Fairplex team in Pomona. I wanted to reach out and see if the Entomology Outreach team of UCR is available to join us on Saturday, November 23 for our Fall In The Farm event.

Fall In The Farm is a celebration of all things agricultural, environmental, and healthy living as we open up our 5-acre farm for the community to learn and explore. This event features hands-on activities, displays, workshops, and more! We’d love to see if your presentation team could join us and provide educational presentations on our event stage.
