[Entm-researchstaff] IMPORTANT I&Q Message

Dear I&Q Users:

We will have an electric shutdown in the I&Q on Saturday, June 15, 6:00 AM-6:00 PM.  Please mark your calendar!!
We will switch to the building generator during that time, which should meet the building's electric needs.  But just to reduce the strain on the generator, please minimize the use of electricity wherever possible.
During that weekend, I will turn off (and label) 2 of the 3 hot boxes on the 2nd floor, and 3 of the 4 hot boxes on the 1st floor.
I will also turn off Cold Room 180. The adjacent Cold Room 119 will remain operating and will have plenty of space.

Also, I will be in the office most of that day, should any problem happen.
