Hi, all.

On Thursday evening, May 23rd, the Friends of the Entomology Research Museum (FERM) will be holding its next Quarterly Meeting.

The title is "CIBI: We're Barcoding Every Insect in California (Not Clickbait)"

Jacob Jones and Christiane Weirauch will be speaking.

The meeting will begin at 6:00 PM in the classroom in the Museum, with the presentation starting around 6:30.

We will provide pizza (including vegetarian options) and beverages, as usual, but need to know how many people want to attend so we can plan accordingly: PLEASE send an RSVP to dyanega at gmail.com<mailto:dyanega at gmail.com> stating if you plan to attend. Feel free to bring along non-pizza food or other beverages if you are inclined, but please let us know in advance.

If you are not presently a member of FERM but would like to attend, we request that you become a member; annual dues are only $10, and go to support the meetings, visiting researchers, collecting trips, and equipment purchases for the Museum.

Also, a few people have asked about parking if they have no parking permit. There are no free parking spots anywhere on campus except on weekends, or unless you've got "CA EXEMPT" license plates. Lot 6 is the nearest lot, and requires you to install an app and pay via the app.

Peace,
