A USDA, ARS, Research Entomologist Position (ticks), GS-0414-12/13, has
been posted to the USAJOBS website with open dates of 3/27/23 - 4/27/23.
This position is located in the Invasive Insect Biocontrol and Behavior
Laboratory (

Beltsville Agricultural Research Center, Northeast Area, Beltsville, MD.
In this position, you will develop new, cost-effective, and sustainable
strategies for controlling invasive and native species including tick
vectors of human diseases. You will conduct research on management of ticks
and tick-borne disease in coordination with the other project scientists.
The position is part of the ongoing “Ticks and Human Health” Project Plan (
https://www.ars.usda.gov/research/project/?accnNo=437417), but the
incumbent will be on-board in time to fully participate in development of
our next 5 year project plan.
