Dear CEDA Members:

The Department of Entomology at Cornell University is seeking to hire a new
faculty member in the area of “Insect Biodiversity and Conservation” (at
the Assistant Professor level). We are particularly interested in
candidates who work at the intersection of arthropod biodiversity and
global change ecology and who use phylogenetic methods, biodiversity
informatics, spatial modeling, biogeography, or trait-based organismal
biology. This search is part of a broader initiative to hire five faculty
focused on biodiversity and conservation across biological, environmental,
social, and computational sciences.

Please share this with other departments and to anyone who would be
interested in this position. Additional details on the position and
instructions for applying can be found here: AJO link
<https://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/jobs/26806>. If anyone has questions
about the position, they may contact Bryan Danforth, the search committee
chair, directly at bnd1 at cornell.edu.

Sincerely,

Bryan
