Dear Colleague,

Attached please find the *FORMAL ANNOUNCEMENT* for two upcoming events of
special interest to anyone interested in electropenetrography (EPG).

First, the newly updated *2023* *Electropenetrography (EPG) Online Workshop*
is *now available* through the University of Florida (UF) Online Extension
courses.  The Workshop offers complete instructions on how to do and
understand EPG.  The UF registration website can be accessed via two links
available in the letter – directly or via the Electropenetrography website
at UF.  In the latter, click on links in the navigation bar on the right.

Second, start making your plans for the *2024 International EPG Conference*.
The date has been pushed back (compared with “save the date”  email last
November) to *January 29th to February 2nd, 2024*, to avoid hurricane
season.  The Conference will be held at the UF Citrus Research and
Education Center in Lake Alfred, FL, U.S.A. (near Orlando), hosted by Dr.
Lauren Diepenbrock.  Anyone who registers for the EPG Online Workshop will
receive a $100 discount for registration at the EPG Conference.  *Abstracts
about research with BOTH types of monitors (AC-DC and DC) and ALL
arthropods (plant-feeders and blood-feeders) will be welcomed.  *See the
attached letter and the Electropenetrography website at UF for more
information.
