Howdy!
I have an open position for *Postdoctoral Research Associate* in my lab.
The successful candidate should have a PhD in Parasitology, Molecular
Biology or related areas (a DVM or equivalent degree could be an asset, but
not required).
Interest and experience in molecular parasitology, strong lab skills (PCR,
qPCR, NGS, ELISA, Western blot, cell/parasite culture), experimental life
cycles, and freshwater copedod colony maintenance. Ideally, also with
statistical, epi and bioinformatics skills and great communication and
writing abilities, and excellent track record.
Potential for field work, including international travel (French speaking
desirable).
The main project will work on projects on advancing diagnostics of helminth
infections, such as the Guinea Worm, *Dracunculus medinensis*.
