in chemistry a few years back, they were very good.

Please see below and attached.  I was asked by Jacqueline Norman to share
this project with CNAS and Sheila Hedayati recommended I start with sending
it to you.  Sheila also asked that the CNAS division deans were made aware
of this project but I’m not sure if I would capture all of them.  Would you
please send this to the divisional deans and anyone else that may need to
know about the work?

In summary, the project utilizes a vendor to clean out the Plant Drying
Building of its contents in preparation for building demolishment to build
the new School of Business building.  The impact of this project will be
confined to the Plant Drying Building and a portion of parking lot 8 for
disposal bin staging.

The work has not been scheduled yet, but we hope to have it started within
three weeks and we believe the work should take a full day.  I’ll
communicate to you the start date once established.  The disposal bins (two
20 cubic yard bins) may be in parking lot 8 for several days as we wait for
sample analysis results to be reviewed.  I will be working with TAPS to
find an appropriate staging area for these bins to ensure the impact to
campus customers is minimal.

Jacqueline,

Please find attached the Clean Harbors quote for cleaning out the Plant
Drying Building contents and performing sampling to determine if there are
any hazardous constituents.  This quote may be less if the contents are
determined not to be hazardous and a non-hazardous disposal occurs.  Once
you approve the cost to be recharged to the project, we expect the work to
occur within 2-3 weeks, if not sooner.  Please let me know when you approve
the cost and I will work on my end to proceed with the work.

Haven’t had a chance to look this over but here is what we got back. This
is worst case scenario, soil is hazardous and we dispose as hazardous
waste. We are running a few extra soil test for the Non haz landfill to
satisfy their request.
