Good afternoon,

Please share this opportunity with qualified individuals seeking a postdoc.

Thank you,

Phil

Good afternoon,

I have an open Postdoctoral Associate position in my research program.
This Postdoctoral Associate position is focused on ivermectin resistance in
the cattle fever tick. The position and qualifications can be viewed at
the following URL and applications are accepted only through this link:

The Kaufman Veterinary Entomology laboratory at the Department of
Entomology, Texas A&M University, College Station, TX focuses on the
development of new pest management tools for livestock systems. Early
detection of resistance to pesticides is a crucial step in the development
of such tools. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will be responsible for
the identification of molecular mechanisms related to ivermectin resistance
in the cattle fever tick, including identification of target-site
insensitivity and detoxification mechanisms, and development of a
diagnostic assay. This project is a partnership with the Knipling-Bushland
U.S. Livestock Insects Research Laboratory and the position is available
for one year with potential for renewal should funding be available.

Thank you,

Phil
