Here we go again. Third time (?) is a charm.
It looks at this point it is only Boyden, SPI, and College Building

04/07/2021– Multiple Building Proposed Electrical Shutdown
Please be advised this electrical shutdown will impact various
buildings on *Wednesday,
April 7th from 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.* Please read below for exact details.
*PURPOSE*
The 5000 kVA transformer originally damaged in Jan. 2021 has been repaired
and is ready for installation. This repair will return impacted buildings
to regular and permanent power.
It will be necessary to perform the permanent power tie-in on *Wednesday,
April 7th from 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.*
*Please review the details of the planned interruption below:*
The following buildings *will experience a power service interruption*
lasting up to *4 hours duration*. We will provide impacted building
occupants updates as to when the power is restored.

Batchelor Hall
Growth Chamber Facility 1 (GFC1)
Botanic Gardens
Keen Hall
Boyden Laboratory
Life Sciences Building
College Building North
Spieth Hall, Herbarium and Vivarium
Fawcett Laboratory
Stored Products Insecticide (SPI) Building
Facilities Services Annex A and B
University Office Building
Greenhouses 1-3 and 18-21
Concerned occupants should take the following precautions:
- If you have sensitive research equipment or systems you know can be
impacted by power interruption and you have not connected them to
uninterrupted power devices (UPS) and surge protectors, please plan to
disconnect and turn off equipment for the duration of the day to avoid any
damage.
