Please read the email below from ITS Information Security Operations. Another security breach with Codecov software tool has been reported. This is one of the application development and testing tool. ITS security group is polling if any units are using this tool to develop applications.

ITS / ISO is polling our campus IT partners to find out if any campus unit is utilizing Covecov (codecov.io) for their application development.

Please send email directly to jonathan.ocab at ucr.edu<mailto:jonathan.ocab at ucr.edu> indicating whether you do or do not utilize Codecov in your department. Note that this is part of a development stack, so it is possible academic units may have developers and researchers using Codecov if they are writing applications.
