Good Morning,

Everyone should have received this commute survey from transportation services. I just took the survey and it only took about 5 minutes to complete; they have an option for telecommuting. If you were on vacation or out sick the week of the 19th – 23rd please let me know and I can remove you from the survey. Thank you!

Dear Ashley,

If you worked the week of April 19-23, 2021, we are required by the SCAQMD's air quality regulations to report on how you got to work. This includes all staff who work remotely (telecommute). It also includes any student workers whether they live on or off-campus.

• If you worked remotely from home or an offsite location, please report as "Telecommute". Your start time should be the usual hour you report to work if working on site.
• If you live on campus, please report as to how you got to your worksite (if you walked, biked, took a bus, drove, etc.).
• If you live/work in same dorm, please report as a "Non-Commute".

If you did not work more than 4 hours during the survey week, were out on vacation or medical leave, or worked on-site outside of Southern California the entire week, please reply to this email indicating as such. With this response, we can update our survey accordingly and remove you from the email reminders.

UCR is required by the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) to perform a commute survey annually and report on the findings. This short survey tracks employee commute modes (e.g., drive alone, carpool, walk, bus, vanpool, train, motorcycle, telecommute, did not commute) for the week of Mon, Apr 19th 2021 - Fri, Apr 23rd 2021. For those individuals who travel to campus multiple times, we would simply want to know the information on your first trip to campus on each given day.

For tracking purposes, you will need to log in using your UCR NetID to access the on-line survey at https://parkingapps.ucr.edu/aqmd/survey

We need your completed survey as soon as possible! Thank you in advance for helping us fulfill our commitment to help improve our air quality and reduce traffic congestion! If you have any questions, please contact:

Tara Pueschel at 827-7433 or parking at ucr.edu
