I think it is that one. I already submitted some things over the summer and I have been reimbursed. But I have more trips that I need to record but haven't done yet. So I guess I'll delete that one as you suggested and make a new one that doesn't overlap.

So...I'm going to have another overlap though.

I'm going to request travel reimbursement from one trip, but two locations. And in between those travel dates, we came back home for one night. The next morning, I had to visit the field site with my personal car and later that day we set off to Ventura.

So I think I'm going to hit the same issues again. Any advice?

Maybe it's easier to call? I'm almost done for the day, leaving about 3pm, but maybe tomorrow it might be quicker to just call me?

Hi Mike,

That is probably it - The requests have a little more leeway than the reports do; I wonder if you could just totally delete that year-long request so that it's gone, and then make a new short request for any new trips you have coming up?

The only caveat is that it could affect any trips currently in progress and not yet paid out if you delete that one big request. But if all your trips are either already reimbursed or not yet submitted, then it shouldn't hurt anything.

Hi,
I'm trying to submit travel expenses but I'm running into issues. This one says

"This Travel Request overlaps the travel dates used in the previous active Travel Request. Please update the Business Travel Start/End Dates or delete this request."

I'm not sure what to do to fix this...or why it's happening. The only thing I can think of is I have a request open for the year as I travel to field sites weekly with my personal car. Is that it?
