Hi, all.

A former UCR entomology student (1980's era) is looking to give
their insect collection to the Museum, but we can't use the
cabinet that the collection is in.

The photo below shows it's a smaller cabinet, holding only a
small number of drawers.

We're offering the cabinet essentially free to whoever might need
one, and no one on the faculty seemed interested so now it's
basically up for grabs. Anyone who is interested should contact
me directly ASAP, and we'll see about figuring out a good
home for it. Note that if it holds Cornell drawers, then the
drawers will also be included, as the Museum does not use
that size. There is still some question about the logistics; it
might require someone to drive to Wrightwood to pick it up, which
is why I say "essentially free". We won't charge anything, but
might ask that you pick it up and bring it back. I know I can't
lift it by myself. ;-)
