These are a great chance to engage with the broader community and practice your science communication skills to diverse audiences. </div><div><br></div><div>1. This <b>Saturday, May 17th, 9:30am-12pm</b>. We have a small touch-a-bug booth at a <a href="https://www.anandayogafestival.com/" target="_blank">Festival</a> in a shaded area of White Park in Downtown Riverside. <b>Children welcome </b>— there will be kids yoga and maggot art in the kid’s zone! <u>One more person needed </u>to help with handling the walking sticks, hissing roaches and desert beetles. </div><div><br></div><div>2. <b>Wednesday, June 25th, 10-11am</b>. Two groups of 20 children aged 6-12 years presentation at the <a href="https://rcdas.org/western-riverside-countycity-animal-shelter" target="_blank">Animal Shelter</a>. We are specifically invited as part of their critter camp to help educate about this under appreciated animal group.</div><a href="https://rcdas.org/critter-camp" target="_blank"></a><div><br></div><div>3. <b>Monday, June 30th, 1:30-2:30pm. </b>Summer reading program at the Ontario City <a href="https://www.ontarioca.gov/government/communitylife/library/spotlight-events" target="_blank">Library</a>, a mix of reading insect-themed books/talking about insects and activities. <b>Children welcome</b>!<b> </b>We are invited to help fight misperceptions around insects, and educate about their biodiversity and influence on our lives. </div><div><div>
