This year we expect to give out 4-5 awards of $1,000 each. The scholarship is open to any undergraduate students at UCR and at nearby institutions, such as community colleges. We strongly advise students to reach out to prospective faculty mentors to identify a host for the research experience before submitting an application, although this is not required.
