We are excited to announce our USDA Research and Extension Experience for the summer of 2025. REEVES: Research and Extension Experiences for Veterinary Students is an 8-week program designed to introduce and train talented individuals for graduate and professional
programs and livestock-associated careers that involve team science, while educating them on veterinary entomology and providing them a project relevant to stakeholders. This program is designed to highlight team science in a conducive and positive environment
for undergraduate students through participation in research and Extension collaborations between faculty in different states. </div>

Each scholar will be provided with a stipend, housing, partial relocation expenses, and travel expenses to a professional conference. The eight selected Scholars will be organized into teams of two at each of the four participating universities (University
of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN; University of Georgia in Athens, GA; Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS; and Texas A&M University in Stephenville, TX). Unique to this REEU, we will provide all scholars the opportunity to attend a professional conference

Concurrently, the REEVES program is also participating in a research project to better understand the needs and value of undergraduate participation in this REEU. These results will provide best practices to share with the field. The research study has minimal
risks, has no compensation for participation, and the researchers will keep responses confidential. No identifiable information will be released if information from this study is published or presented at scientific meetings. Your participation is voluntary,
you can say no now or leave the study later. Either way, your decision will not affect your admission to the program or relationship with the researchers or the university. </div>
