Hi, all.

After a long pandemic hiatus, FERM (Friends of the Entomology Research
Museum) will resume our Annual Meeting tradition on the evening of Sunday, April 23rd. The event is open to all FERM members, and those who are not members are encouraged to join; the annual requested contribution is only $10, and you can join at the meeting.

The speaker will be Dr. David Wagner from UConn, and his talk is titled

"Caterpillars: Their Use in Biosystematic Studies, Ecology, and Life Histories”

The timetable and location will be as usual: dinner starts at 6 PM, the talk starts at 7 PM, in the ground floor conference room of the main entomology building.

IMPORTANT:

It has been requested to try to get catered Thai food entrees for the event, but this requires a very precise head count of the people who want Thai food. It will likely be satay, pad thai, and some mild curries and other dishes.

IF YOU WANT CATERED THAI FOOD PLEASE SEND ME A NOTE CONFIRMING THIS, AND THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE.

If you are not interested in Thai food, then the regular pot luck rules apply; bring an entree that is enough for yourself and a few other people to share.

If you are interested in Thai food but would like to bring snacks or desserts (which are not being catered), then please feel free.

FERM will provide beverages.

We will try to arrange for a livestream of the talk for those who cannot attend in person. Please let me know who you are and I will send a link to you directly when this is finalized.

Peace,
