Reno, Nevada, from June 6 – 10, 2026, at the Peppermill Resort and Spa (*please
also see attached meeting flyers for more information*). This year’s
scientific program features a dynamic lineup of topics, including
cutting-edge developments in *plant and animal biotechnology*, *genome
editing*, and *functional genomics*. These sessions will explore how in
vitro systems are being leveraged to accelerate trait discovery, improve
disease resistance, and enhance productivity in both agricultural and
biomedical contexts. We are also offering a series of *workshops* designed
to deepen technical expertise and foster cross-disciplinary learning. In
celebration of the *SIVB’s 80th Anniversary*, the meeting will also include
special events and networking opportunities to honor the Society’s legacy
and future.

meeting and one-year free membership of the following year to the students
who present their research work at the meeting in the form of an oral or
