Hello Christiane,

I hope you're doing well! I wanted to share an upcoming volunteer
opportunity at the Louis Robidoux Parkland & Pecan Grove and see if any
students, staff, or community members affiliated with UCR Entomology might
be interested in participating.

This Saturday, June 13th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, we'll be hosting a
volunteer morning focused on helping our gardens transition into summer.
Activities will include light watering and weeding in native plant gardens
that support pollinators and other wildlife while serving as educational
demonstration spaces for the community. Volunteers will also have
opportunities to learn about native plant identification, pollinator
habitat, and the role these gardens play in supporting local biodiversity.

I've attached a flyer with additional details. If you know of any students
looking for volunteer hours, hands-on experience with native plant and
pollinator habitat management, or an opportunity to learn more about
Southern California ecosystems, we would greatly appreciate it if you could
share this opportunity with them. We could really use the support!
