[Entm-beu] Fwd: Extra outreach events -- science fair awards table, high school careers talk

Hello,
We have two outreach events added to the calendar at short notice. Please
sign up if you are available!

   1. Entomology table at the Awards Ceremony for the RUSD High School
   Science Fair

   The booth is from *5-6 pm on Friday January 30th*. We are expecting the
   RUSD students along with their families, possibly community members too,
   roughly 200 or so attendees. We intend to have the tables on the patio
   outside the University Theatre. Other campus partners will also be present,
   e.g. University Honors, CNAS Peer Mentors, etc. We will need to take the
   insects and posters over from the Entomology building in a cart, so allow
   time to walk to/from the building.
   2. High school careers talk: February 9th UCR Entomology Alumn Jeisler Ku is
   bringing ~30 high school students

   a campus careers tour and would like to stop at Entomology around *11am
   on Friday February 9th*. We are looking for a few people to meet them in
   the courtyard and chat about the discipline of Entomology and career paths.
   They would be interested in a lab walk through, and are planning to view
   the educational displays in the lobby.
