Re: Inspire Science Symposium (Jan 29): Research Labs, Science as a Career
Path & Mentorship

The Inspire Science Symposium, taking place on January 29, 2026, is hosted
by BcMBGSA and is designed to:


   - Introduce first- and second-year undergraduates to research and
   science as a career path.
   - Help students join a research lab during the April follow-up workshop.
   - Connect students with graduate students, faculty, and advisors across
   departments for mentorship and guidance.

The event includes short graduate student talks, posters, and roundtable
Q&A sessions with graduate students, faculty, and advisors, focused on
finding research opportunities and exploring science careers. A follow-up
workshop in April will help selected students connect with labs across CNAS.
