[Entm-beu] Thank YOU: Riverside Insect Fair

Hello everyone,

Thank you SO MUCH for the amazing efforts everyone put into this
year's *Riverside
Insect Fair*! It was incredible to observe the passion with which all of
you inform communities around us about the importance of insects and
showcase UCR Entomology's research on these creatures.

The City of Riverside estimates an attendance of *upwards of 20,000 this
year* (up from 16,000 last year) -- more accurate numbers are forthcoming.
Way to go, bugs, and all of us who study them!

A special thank you to EGSA and Veronica Tyts who coordinated efforts with
the City, as well as Tiffany Wheeler (City of Riverside) and Ian Wright
(The Museum of Riverside). And to Evelyn Sullivan and Kia Herron for
spreading the word on our graduate and undergraduate programs!
