[Entm-beu] Pets in Building

All,
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but effective immediately, the campus
is enforcing the "no pets in buildings" policy.  Please refer to this
policy: https://policyking.ucr.edu/home/policy/6539d1030ad0f868b8663765.
The bottom line is that you can have pets on campus, but only outside and
leashed. In unique cases, with permission from the Dean, you may have a pet
in the building for a maximum of 5 days (not extendable). The latter would
be the case, I would expect , if you are moving and have
no temporary boarding options.

The rules are different for assistive and service animals:

an assistive/service animal into buildings requires a permit from the
campus.  To get the permit you need to contact Disability Management in HR
https://workerscomp.ucr.edu/disability-management.

I just did a fast google search on "doggy day care" in Riverside and this
is what popped up under sponsored businesses.  There are more that are not
sponsored.
