Hello all!
It is time again for Insect Fair planning! The Riverside Insect Fair will be held on April 26 2025 from 10:00-4:00. As always, our department has the opportunity to engage the public with our research through booths at the fair. These booths are available for entomology department labs and student organizations. You can sign up for a booth for your lab alone, or you can combine forces with other labs to create a multilab booth. Just keep in mind all booths will be 4 tables arranged in a square with a 10x10 foot tent over them. We will be doing the booth scavenger hunt for kids and adults again this year, so I will be in touch with more details about that later.

We have a maximum of 10 booths available for UCR research labs. Attached is a sign up sheet<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mIDbYX-NDeLJBPoDyFc8nrqFoEA9SDN71cC00m5upO8/edit?usp=sharing>. There will not be additional booths.

If you sign up for a booth, you are required to show up to your booth and someone must be present during the entire event. Plan to arrive and set up before the event and pack up your stuff after the event has ended. Empty booths due to no-shows are a wasted opportunity for sharing science with our community. If you sign up for a booth and do not show up, it may affect your ability to sign up for booths in future years.
