> California Ecology and Conservation is an intensive field program that transforms students into scientists. The course is specifically tailored for students contemplating a career in ecology, conservation biology, or a related field. This summer will mark our 31st run. Since its inception in 2015, over 500 undergraduates across the UC system have participated.

> Duration: 50 days
> Participants: 27 undergraduates from across the UC system
> Experience: Hands-on learning in some of California's most awe-inspiring landscapes
> Skills Developed:
> Conducting independent research studies
> Framing questions into feasible research projects
> Practicing standard field techniques
> Data analysis and presentation skills
> Leadership and teamwork in a diverse community of scholars
> 
> Eligibility: All UC undergraduates who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply:
> 2.5+ GPA
> Good standing with their home campus
> Successful completion of an introductory biology course
