[Entm-beu] Fire yesterday

All,
Yesterday there was a fire in the Entomology Storage Facility.  There has
been considerable damage to the building and its contents.  Right now the
site is considered an active investigation to determine the source of the
fire.  *Under no circumstances *are you permitted to enter the building,
examine its contents, retrieve any of your stored materials. Don't even try
as the building is under 24 hr police protection.  I do not know how long
access will be prohibited.   As I learn more, you will learn more.   I
remind you to absolutely ensure everything you store, anywhere on campus,
should be done in an absolutely safe manner following all University
policies.  Failure to do so, falls squarely on the shoulders of the PI.
Careless mistakes are not going to be tolerated.  Please take this time and
opportunity to immediately ensure all of your spaces (lab, office,
storage--including trailers at AgOps) are up to complete safety standards.
