Dear all,

I'm very happy to announce that Dr. Armin Moczek has agreed to be our
2025–2026 Alfred M. Boyce Lecturer. Armin is a professor at Indiana
University and is widely known for his work on the evolution and
development of complex traits, particularly in insects. His research brings
together evolutionary biology, developmental genetics, and ecology in ways
that continue to influence the field.

The Boyce Lecture is scheduled for *Monday, June 1, 2026*, so please mark
your calendars. We’ll share more details as we get closer to the date, but
I wanted the department to know he accepted the invitation and that we’ve
locked in the date.
