I am reaching out because the MSU Entomology Department is excited to recruit a Pesticide Safety Education Program Coordinator. This position is supported through a multi-year collaborative grant through the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and will have statewide responsibilities for pesticide safety education and training. There is room and support for the successful candidate to develop programming and support in their area of interest related to pesticide safety and to collaborate with applied agriculture faculty at MSU.


The position is housed in the Entomology Department, but we are interested in candidates with experience with safe pesticide use including those with backgrounds in entomology, plant pathology, weed science, or other related fields. This position would be particularly well-suited students from your program or others who conducted research on pesticide efficacy or were engaged with extension.
