Please distribute the information below to any undergraduates at your
institution who might be interested in medical entomology or vector
management, and who will be in the southern California area for summer.

The UCR Department of Entomology is offering UC undergraduates a paid
internship/training program in Public Health Entomology that will be held
on the UCR campus from July 17-28, 2023.  Participants are responsible for
their own transportation to the UCR campus each day of the program.
Overnight housing on campus is not available.

Attendees can be current undergraduates from any UC campus (undergrads that
graduated in spring 2023 are also eligible).  The internship will focus on
developing skills in surveillance and identification of mosquitoes, ticks,
and other arthropods of public health significance, and will include
interactions with personnel from local public health agencies.
