Dear colleagues,


As convenor of the Young IOBC-WPRS commission, I am happy to send you the announcement and invitation letter (see attached documents) for a special event we are organizing in April 2024 at IRTA (Cabrils, Spain):


The first IOBC PhD Symposium on biological control of arthropod pests and plant diseases.


This symposium is an opportunity for PhD students in the field of biological control to share their experiences with their peers, develop their international network and interact with biological control experts in a friendly atmosphere.


You will find more information in the 2 attached documents. Please share them with any PhD student you know who might be interested in joining us for this symposium.


As explained in the invitation letter, interested PhD candidates should send a motivation letter (A4) to me (sophie.lehesran at wur.nl<mailto:sophie.lehesran at wur.nl>) before 15th January 2024.
