This annual lecture series honors the legacy of C.V. Riley, an entomologist
who’s work on biological control, regulatory entomology, and as the first
curator of insects at the Smithsonian Institution left an indelible impact
on agricultural science. Dr. Landis a Fellow of the American Association
for the Advancement of Science and MSU Distinguished Professor.
