   We need some field help! The Cleveland is adding treatment sites for
goldspotted oak borer (GSOB; check out www.gsob.org

and they need data by the end of February. For those of you who are new to
GSOB, this is a great opportunity to train up on invasive insects impacting
our hardwoods…*and* hang out with some cool entomologists and plant
pathologists in the field (we might even bring you treats!). We can provide
all field gear -- just remember to bring your helmet!

Here are our target dates by ranger district (RD):

*Trabuco RD (day trips from SBNF) *

January: 11, 12, 13 and 19, 20

RAIN OUT days: January: 25, 26, 27

*Palomar RD (overnight from SBNF)*

February 7 - 11
