The following message forwarded on behalf of Dr. Amy C. Murillo.

Hello all,

I hope you have all had a great Fall quarter. Just a quick update on the departmental seminars:

  1. The winter schedule has been filled with virtual speakers. You can view the list here.<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vZPfQr596Hdp5QDQc9TZERzYaE8dcCdm/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=116058837071925982624&rtpof=true&sd=true>
  2. In the Spring quarter we hope to host people in person on campus. We have ~half the spots still open, so if you would like to nominate someone to speak please do so here<https://forms.gle/hC1nhGNJwrBDbXYx8>.
  3. We have invited the Boyce Lecture Speaker from 2020 (Rosemary Gillepsie) to present on campus in April
  4. This winter we will need to vote for the 2022 Boyce Lecture Speaker. Please submit your nominations here<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeyxsTeb6Fvhfs-5qeMqMb5BcaRi8Z6EwXr7CGMiC6P2WDKNg/viewform?usp=sf_link> by January 14, 2022.
Thank you all for your participation this quarter - it was really nice to see what our students are working on! Have a great winter break,
-----
