Hello everyone

During the cooler season we are feeding our colonies with sugar water and pollen patties.
Now we have ants enjoying a free meal.

To keep the ants away, we place the feet of our hive stands each into a tin can, which we fill with water covered in oil.

To do this, we are looking for more tin cans.
The diameter of the opening should be bigger than 3 inches (7.75 cm).
Cans with a volume of 17.8 oz work well.
Those with 15.5 oz are too small.

Please place the cleaned out cans in front of Boris' office (283).
If you bring 12 cans or more, drop me a line, you will get some honey from us.

Thanks for your help and best wishes!

Barbara
