From anthony.dominguez at ucr.edu Wed Mar 4 18:56:46 2026 From: anthony.dominguez at ucr.edu (Anthony Dominguez) Date: Wed, 4 Mar 2026 18:56:46 -0800 Subject: [Enscstudent] Spring 2026 Registration: Deadlines & Enrollment Procedures Message-ID: Dear Graduate Students, The registration period for the Spring 2026 quarter officially opened on Monday, February 9, 2026. You may self-enroll in or drop courses through your student portal until the deadline on Friday, April 10, 2026. Following the conclusion of this self-enrollment window, any further schedule changes must be processed via an Enrollment Adjustment Form petition in R?Grad. Please be advised that the final deadline to add courses using this petition is Friday, April 17, 2026, while the final day to drop a course with a "W" grade is Friday, May 8, 2026. After the April 17 deadline has passed, no further course additions will be permitted under any circumstances. As you finalize your schedule, please ensure that you are registered for all required courses and consult with your major professor to confirm your academic plan for the upcoming quarter. To enroll in a course offered outside of your specific program or department for which you have not completed the required prerequisites at UCR or another institution, you must contact the course instructor via email to formally request enrollment permission. Should the instructor grant their approval, please forward the confirmation to me. Upon receipt of this authorization, I will apply the necessary override code within the student registration system to allow your enrollment in the course. It is also essential that you review your student account for any outstanding holds, as these may prevent registration and negatively impact your eligibility for employment or fellowship support. Finally, please take note that the Graduate Division strictly enforces all established deadlines. A petition is not considered "received" upon your submission; rather, it is only officially received once it has successfully routed through all necessary approvals and reached the Graduate Academic Affairs queue. You are responsible for tracking the progress of your petitions in R?Grad and are encouraged to review the Graduate Academic Affairs Deadlines page if you have any questions regarding these timelines. Please let me know if you have any questions.
