Hello,

My name is Delanie Medina and I am the Fellowship Program Coordinator
for California
Sea Grant <https://caseagrant.ucsd.edu/>. Our program has been dedicated
for 50+ years to supporting the education and training of the next
generation of ocean and coastal leaders in California. We are reaching out
in hopes to connect with your ocean and coastal science graduate students
with our active policy fellowship opportunity
<https://caseagrant.ucsd.edu/students>. We appreciate your help in sharing
the following information with your program and network!

NOW OPEN! 2026 California Sea Grant State Fellowship Program
<https://caseagrant.ucsd.edu/funding/2026-california-sea-grant-state-fellowship-0>
This fellowship provides a unique educational opportunity for soon-to-be or
recent graduates who are interested in marine, coastal, and/or watershed
resources and in the decisions affecting those resources in California.
Over 300 fellows have been matched with over 40 unique hosts since its
launch in 1987. Many alumni are now employed in key positions in government
at the state and federal level with 80 percent of participants in a given
year going on to jobs in policy and/or resource management after completing
their fellowship
Applications due: June 13th, 2025 by 5:00PM PT
