<html aria-label="message body"><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body style="overflow-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; line-break: after-white-space;">Dear Colleagues,<div><br></div><div>I hope this finds you well.</div><div><br></div><div>As the academic year winds up, I’m thrilled to recognize our English Department faculty, graduate, and undergraduate award recipients for 2025-2026.</div><div><br></div><div>This year’s award roster ranges from campus awards recognizing faculty disability allies to essay awards at graduate and undergraduate levels, Graduate Service Awards, Lindon Barrett Memorial and Emory Elliott Memorial awards, Outstanding TA of the Year, and a host of dissertation fellowship awards funded by Graduate Division. I want to take a moment to recognize how well our graduate program is represented here, in the innovative research and service highlighted in the awards roster. Overall, this is an impressive collection of honors and awards, representing the excellent work in research, teaching, and service going on in the Department. </div><div><br></div><div>Congratulations to all of the awards winners: we’re so proud of your work.</div><div><br></div><div>I am especially grateful to the donors who make the Lindon Barrett Memorial, the Emory Elliott Memorial, and the Graduate Service Awards possible, and of course, to our English Department support staff who keep us going quarter to quarter, year to year.</div><div><br></div><div>Winners have been notified separately; for this general announcement, I’ve attached the formal award notice including prize descriptions and information about awards and recipients.
