[English-undergrad] Undergraduate Essay Award for the Department of English

Dear English Majors:

As Spring 2026 comes to a close, I am thrilled to announce the winners of the Undergraduate Essay Award in the Department of English.
 
This author of this year’s award-winning essay is Isabella Day, for “'Tender is the Flesh': Necropolitics and Cannibalism."
 
And an honorable mention goes to Troy Davidson, for their essay, "The War on Masculinity: Analyzing the Demasculinization of Men in Asian American Literature”.

Congratulations, Isabella and Troy! Please folllow up with Elaine so that we can issue you your award prize.
