I recently sent out the almost complete list of our award-winners and honors recipients among faculty and students for 2025-2026. But there is more good news to share. Here, I?ve updated our awards and honors list with some important additions to close out the 2025-2026 academic year, and I?ve attached the complete list below. I?m thrilled to present this extraordinary roster of accomplishment. In the latest additions, notably, English graduate student Sayeong Kim has been awarded the Hillary Chute Award for Best Graduate Student Paper from the Comics Studies Society. I?ve also added the list, as of June, of professional placement for graduates of the Doctoral Program in English, which demonstrates the value and impact our English doctoral graduates bring globally, from Southern California to the UK. We wish you all brilliant careers.
