Hello Everyone,

Thanks to everyone who came to the English Majors Association-English Faculty Mixer yesterday! It was a great event. If you did, and have follow up questions, let me know, as well.

On a different note, recently I heard from Karisa You in the school of business at UCR who wanted to let me know about study abroad programs in London, Mexico, and Italy which they offer. I’ve forwarded those materials below.

By the way, English faculty also lead study abroad programs in summer: both Fuson Wang and Timothy Petete will have different study abroad programs in London this summer. Let Dr. Wang or Dr. Petete know if you are curious.

Take care,

Dr. Tobias

"We at UCR would like to respectfully acknowledge and recognize our responsibility to the original and current caretakers of this land, water, and air: the Cahuilla, Tongva, Luiseño, and Serrano peoples and all of their ancestors and descendants, past, present, and future. Today this meeting place is home to many Indigenous peoples from all over the world, including UCR faculty, students, and staff, and we are grateful to have the opportunity to live and work on these homelands."
