[English-undergrad] Food Drive Update & Thank You

Dear All:

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated to the English Department Food Drive this quarter. Because of you, we collected 110 pounds of donations for the R’Pantry!! 🎉🎉🎉

The students who came to pick up our donations said that they were especially excited to see all the hygiene items. They also told us that *all* our donations would be distributed within days of receipt: a reminder that the need on our campus and in our communities is acute and ongoing. 

If you or someone you know is in need, R’Pantry itself will be closed until next quarter, but they’re plugged into a network of off-campus food resources <https://basicneeds.ucr.edu/rpantry> that can be accessed in the Riverside area over the holidays. If you’re looking to help, the R’Pantry accepts physical and cash donations <https://basicneeds.ucr.edu/donate> all year.
