[English-undergrad] $15,000 Strauss Award for Public Service

Dear UCR Students,



The *2024-2025 Strauss Scholarship Application has opened*. This award
funds student-led public service projects.  If you are passionate about
helping your community, you can propose a student-led project.  Projects
they consider are:

   1. A project you currently lead and want to take to another level
   2. A project idea you are developing



This *$15,000 award* is one of the largest undergrad scholarships
available.  Scholarship winners have gone on to win many prestigious awards
like the Rhodes and Marshall and Soros, and attend grad school at Harvard,
Stanford, Yale, and others.



The Foundation will be hosting a webinar to review the scholarship.  You
are encouraged to join to learn how to develop a competitive application.
Although this Scholarship does not require a campus endorsement, CUREL
supports students in the application process.   Please contact our office
after attending the webinar.
