Join Professor Rafael A. Martinez from Arizona State University, as he presents his new book, Illegalized: Undocumented Youth Movements in the United States!

Sponsored by UC Riverside's English Department, Ethnic Studies Department, and the Global Latinidades Project, this event highlights Martinez’s unique perspective as an undocu-scholar exploring the rise and impact of undocumented youth movements over the past two decades. Through personal insight and interdisciplinary analysis, Illegalized examines how these activists challenge repressive state control and reshape the narrative around immigrant rights in the United States.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A session. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with Professor Martinez on the resilience and transformative power of undocumented youth activism. Light refreshments will be served.
