UWP Lecturers holiday reading

Something entertaining to read over the breaks, and also a great gift for any non-tenure-track instructor, particilarly those with a taste for the gothic, is The Lecturer's Tale by James Hynes.

Also, I'm about to send out some gift subscriptions for the Santa Cruz Comic News; see thecomicnews.com.  Among other things, it compiles a month's worth of News of the Weird as well as a weekly diary of planetary hurricanes, volcanos, and other disasters.
