 Reconsidering Our Differences: Redressing Racism, Homophobia, and
Intolerance within the UC and Beyond

 Join us for an Urgent Inter-Disciplinary Panel and Colloquium on Redressing
Racism, Homophobia and Intolerance within the UC and Beyond

 

 Recent incidents of racism and hate crimes on and around UC campuses are a
call to awareness and action. This session brings together UCR professors
from the social sciences and humanities to analyze the issues and the
underlying conditions that gave rise to them. How can we best redress
racism, homophobia and intolerance within the UC? Beyond the UC, how can
faculty, students, and administrators join with local communities to
encourage involvement, defeat indifference, and prevent acts of intolerance?
