UWP Lecturers REMINDER: Lecturer Meeting Tuesday and/or Wednesday

               CALL FOR LECTURER MEETING

   

  Please Attend One If Possible

   

  WHEN:

    * 
      Tuesday, May 12th from 2-3:30 PM

  Or

    * 
      Wednesday, May 13th from 2-3:30 PM

   

  Where:

   

  The University Writing Program Conference Room
  (right next to the main office where Regina et all
  are located)

   

   

  Topics to be discussed:

   

  1)  A workload settlement offer made by the
  University after 1 ½ years of negotiation

   

  2)  Representation on the University Writing
  Committee; it appears that the current
  interpretation of the Writing Program charter
  entitles the Director to “Appoint” lecturers to
  the committee instead of lecturers being voted into
  the positions (i.e. problem in Democracy). 

   

  3)  Review letter concerns.  Some issues have arisen
  as to the process by which files have been reviewed
  and the scores calculated

  Other concerns, of course, can be raised and
  addressed at the meeting.
